Terms of Service

Last updated: June 15, 2026

These Terms govern use of Loopd at meetloopd.com. Loopd provides software for fitness coaches to manage clients, collect check ins and progress photos, and review AI assisted summaries. By creating an account or using an authenticated feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Who May Use Loopd

You must be at least 18 years old. People under 18 may not create an account, claim a client profile, submit a check in, or otherwise use Loopd. We do not currently offer a parental consent or guardian-managed account system.

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized account use. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Coach Responsibilities and Client Data

A coach may enter or upload client names, contact details, goals, health and fitness information, check in responses, notes, and photos only when the coach has lawful authority to do so and has obtained every consent or authorization required for that processing. A coach must give clients any notice required by law and must not invite or add a person known to be under 18.

Coaches control their coaching relationship and decisions. They are responsible for reviewing client submissions, safeguarding information they export or receive, responding to clients where the coach controls the data, and complying with professional, privacy, and consumer-protection rules that apply to their services.

Health, Medical, and Emergency Disclaimer

Loopd is an administrative fitness-coaching tool. Loopd is not a health-care provider, medical device, emergency service, or substitute for a qualified clinician. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor a disease or medical condition.

Do not rely on Loopd, a coach's use of Loopd, or an AI summary for urgent health decisions. In an emergency, call the emergency number for your location. For medical questions, seek advice from a qualified health-care professional.

AI-Assisted Summaries

Loopd may send selected client check in information to Anthropic's commercial API to generate a draft summary for the coach. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate for a particular person. It is not medical advice. Coaches must independently review the underlying client submission and exercise human judgment before relying on or sharing an AI summary.

HIPAA and Regulated Health Data

Loopd does not claim HIPAA compliance and is not currently offered for workflows involving protected health information on behalf of a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. Do not use Loopd for such a workflow unless Loopd has first signed a separate written agreement, including any required business associate agreement, and confirmed that the necessary technical and organizational controls are in place.

Your Content

You retain your rights in content you lawfully submit. You give Loopd a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, display, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service, comply with law, and follow your authorized instructions. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Loopd to:

We may investigate suspected misuse, remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or others.

Plans, Renewal, and Cancellation

Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. The price and billing frequency shown at checkout apply. You authorize recurring charges through Stripe. You can cancel online at Dashboard , then Billing , then Manage billing. Cancellation stops future renewal; paid access normally continues through the already-paid billing period.

The standard 14-day Solo trial requires no payment method and does not automatically become a paid subscription. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Taxes may apply. We may change prices or plan features prospectively after reasonable notice; changes do not override mandatory consumer rights.

Service Changes and Termination

We may modify or discontinue features and may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, nonpayment, unlawful use, or risk to another person. You may cancel a subscription or delete a coach account through the dashboard. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute terms.

Third-Party Services

Loopd relies on third-party services including Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, and Upstash. Their services may be subject to their own terms and availability. Loopd is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loopd is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or medically appropriate operation, or that AI output, user content, or coach decisions will be accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loopd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising from the Service. Loopd's aggregate liability arising from the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Loopd in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100.

These limits do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct where applicable.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, coaches and business users will defend, indemnify, and hold Loopd harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from their client services, unlawful or unauthorized collection or upload of client data, user content, or material violation of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Loopd's own unlawful conduct.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Illinois law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer law in your place of residence may still apply. Before filing a claim, contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a small-claims court with jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms. For a material change, we will provide reasonable notice by email, in-product notice, or another appropriate method and may require renewed acceptance. The effective version is identified by the "Last updated" date.
